Our evaluation process consists of 3 appointments.
The first appointment is a Visual Information Processing Evaluation or “perceptual testing”. A vision therapist will administer testing to evaluate visual processing skills, identifying how the brain and eyes work together.
The second appointment is a Comprehensive Binocular Sensorimotor Vision Exam by one of our doctors. This is an in-depth exam evaluating how each eye works individually, how they work together and how the eyes communicate with the brain.
The third appointment, a Conference, is typically scheduled 2 weeks following your binocular exam. This is a complimentary visit to discuss the results of testing and the exam as well as the doctor’s recommended treatment plan. You will receive a detailed report at this time.
If vision therapy is recommended, you will meet with our scheduler to determine therapy times and learn about payment options.
